An opportunity for young people to engage at a deep level with issues of migration, integration and diversity. Day of Difference is a drama simulation and a face to face dialogue with people of difference. It puts racial intolerance and discrimination under the microscope.

It is delivered as a whole day workshop suitable for Key Stage 3 or 4 and involves the entire year group. Teachers need to undertake a half day's training in order to co-facilitate the day. This training is delivered on-site at the school and must be at least 2 weeks before the intervention itself.

"A remarkable day - it felt dangerous and exciting and really makes the young people challenge their own views and the views of others." Head of Year 8, King Edward VI School, Totnes.

"What an amazing experience - for the staff and the students. This will be the springboard for a whole scheme of work." Teacher, Teign School, Teignmouth.

Day of Difference has been developed in collaboration with King Edward VI School, Totnes.
