Changes to Barbican Theatre Performance Training from September 2017
Barbican Theatre has been developing a new five year business plan, taking advice from Arts Council England. In it we re-focus our offer to young people and specialise in the 12-25 year age range. This means from September 2017 we will be creating a more in-depth service for teenagers and young adults.
Our aim is to evolve a number of different, inspiring and professional opportunities for our participants in this age range.
We also recognise that the cultural landscape in Plymouth has changed
dramatically in the last three years and there are now many more opportunities for younger children to access theatre and dance classes.
Our new programme begins in September:
5:15 – 6.45pm: Dance Junction (age 12 – 16)
7pm – 8:30pm: Theatre Junction (age 12 – 16)
5:30pm – 6:30pm: Arts Force (age 14 – 25)
