Creative Residency: 7th – 9th February and 27th – 28th March 2014

A fantastic opportunity for up to 20 young people (14-25 yrs/10 boys/10 girls) to work with Tony Adigun from Avant Garde; one of the most exciting choreographers on the scene today. All young dancers train and rehearse with the dancers for 4 days and perform the ‘bonus tracks’ within ‘The Black Album’ performance at the Barbican Theatre on 28th March. This is a free participation activity made possible and funded by Barbican Theatre, Plymouth Dance, Racial Equity Council & Widening Participation University of Plymouth.

Sat 8 Feb: 10.30am – 5.30pm

Sun 9 Feb: 10.30am – 5.30pm

Thurs 20th Feb: 6-8pm

Thurs 20th Mar: 7.30-9pm

Thurs 27 Mar: 5.30pm – 9pm

Fri 28th Mar: technical rehearsal: 5pm Performance 7.30pm start
