VOLUNTEER CALL OUT: Stewards for Rope Walks: A Theatrical Tour of Plymouth’s Historic Barbican

Would you like to improve your CV and be a part of an exciting new theatrical experience and Plymouth’s History Festival this summer? 

Barbican Theatre and Plymouth History Centre are seeking volunteers to act as stewards for Rope Walks: A Theatrical Tour of Plymouth’s Historic Barbican

Our Stewards will  support actors in moving the audience through a theatrical experience, support the health and safety of the audience and actors, and set up, prepare and protect the performance spaces, costumes and props when required. 

As well as improving your CV, you’ll get to enjoy being involved with an interesting and, imaginative and novel approach to telling history plus gain experience in walk leading and stewarding, theatre and stage management.

Training sessions are taking place on Wednesday 10 May at 2pm and 6pm (you’ll only need to attend one).

Time commitment (dates of walks): May 20, 21, 27, 28, June 3, 4, 10 and 11, 6, 9, 13, 16, 20, 23, 27, 30 August. To arrive at 10.30 and finish at 1.30pm then 1.30pm finishing at 4pm.
