Bridget Christie: Jacket Potato Pizza

Making A Killing
The ropes are ready, the crowd is waiting, and the hangman has a new apprentice. When Claus Kohler is apprenticed Frantz Schmidt, Nuremberg’s seasoned executioner, the two men are thrown together in a world where duty, morality, and power collide, and every decision leaves a mark. But as the gallows fill and suspicion takes root, their fates become dangerously entwined, until both must decide who they are, and which side of the rope they stand on.
Performed by just two actors, Making a Killing is a razor-sharp, dark comedy about justice, corruption, and the cost of survival in a world disturbingly like our own. Bold, biting and impossible to ignore, the play takes inspiration from The Journal of Master Frantz Schmidt, Public Executioner of Nuremberg, 1573 - 1617. A remarkable historical record that lays bare the humanity and contradictions of a man who killed for a living.
The Invisible Man
A thrillingly funny adaptation of H.G. Wells
The thought of invisibility, and the advantages it could bring to someone, has captured the imagination of millions since HG Wells’ classic story was first published. The Invisible Man has been adapted many times for film, but rarely for the stage.
This original, fast-paced and riotous adaptation boasts 15 characters, played by just three energetic actors, aided by quick and silly costume changes, prop manipulation, whacky imagination and tons of tongue-and-cheek fun!
This theatrical, comedic re-telling is brought to you by Our Star Theatre Company, after their hugely successful 2023 UK tour and critcally acclaimed sell-out run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
Maisie Adam: Whatsherface
Straight off the back of Taskmaster, A League Of Their Own, and Last One Laughing, Maisie Adam is back with her brand new show Whatsherface.
Join the “tall, chaotic one with the weird hair” as she returns with her trademark wit, firecracker gags, and probably a few angry outbursts along the way.
*A genuine description given by her best friend’s Mum at a wedding this year.*

The Phantom Rasberry Blower of Old London Town
Something is rotten in Old London Town…
In Victorian England, a rotten, raspberry blower is claiming the lives of the upper-classes. The dark alleyways and moonlit graveyards of London are alive with the repetitive dins of the Phantom.
Inspector Corner of the Yard and his faithful sidekick, Sergeant Bowles, are fed up with these din-dins. The case is afoot. Will the Phantom be uncloaked? All will be revealed… particularly if the Phantom uncloaks himself.
Immortalised by The Two Ronnies, this Jack the Ripper parody is rasberry-jam-packed with Spike Milligan’s and Ronnie Barker’s love of surreal absurdism, clever puns, near-the-knuckle ribaldry, quick-fire jokes and famous wordplay.
Celebrating the 50th anniversary since its original broadcast in 1976, this newly adapted stage play brings the Phantom back to life like never before.
Presented by Hambledon Productions with the kind permission of Spike Milligan Productions Ltd and Handles for Forks Ltd.
