Born in a field 30-something years ago, Thomas Ford is a blues shouter, a guitar picker and a harmonica fire-breather. His energetic live shows have taken him from Bodmin to Berlin, his records have sold from the Eastern Block to the East Indies and he has been played on radio shows from Luton to Laos. Mixing delta blues traditions with nu-blues songwriting, this one man trio has been hailed as “The rising star of British blues”.

For tonight's very special show Thomas will be performing with Becca Langsford, vocalist and percussionist of international renown, often seen touring with Jethro Tull's Martin Barre or performing in her own exciting projects right here in her hometown. An unmissable show we reckon!

Daisy Mae is a Singer/Songwriter and Guitarist from Plymouth whose music is a fusion of acoustic Jazz, Folk,and Pop. She takes inspiration from a range of artists including Bob Dylan, Greentea Peng, Ella Fitzgerald, and Bob Marley for their truthful lyrics and soulful melodies.

All aboard the good ship Black Friday – join her crew and captain Tom for another stormy crossing of the Celtic sea of folk-punk. We don’t know where we’re going and we don’t know when we’ll get there but we’ll have some fun along the way…
Since 2005 the six strong, unstoppable Black Friday have been playing their foot-stomping mix of high energy, home-brew folk-punk and celtic tunes across Cornwall and lands far beyond. They have had crowds jumping at some of europes biggest festivals, including Glastonbury, Boomtown, Donau-insel fest and Electric Picnic. They have recorded a live BBC session at Maida Vale Studios and broken a Guiness world record – 30 gigs in 12 hours!
Their music is influenced by their Irish and Cornish roots and their folk heroes. Catchy original songs and take on folk favourites by the likes of Flogging Molly and Pogues will keep you dancing all night.

The Wireless are a 3-piece band comprising acoustic guitar, electric bass, drums and percussion with all 3 band members sharing vocal duties. Currently in their 21st year with over 1000 gigs under their belt, The Wireless take great songs from the last 60 years and put them through the Wireless-o-fiertm to brand them with their own trademark stamp. David Bowie, Bob Marley, Elvis Costello, Fat Boy Slim, The Rolling Stones, Nick Lowe, Gorillaz, Talking Heads, The Specials, The Eurythmics, Men at Work, Miley Cyrus, Queen and The Cure are all in the mix. Drum/percussion breakdowns, psyche rave bass and wah-wah driven guitar all add spice, topped off with 3-part harmonies.

Formed from a love of rock and roll, their sound shares qualities from the late 60s psychedelic and folk rock movements as well as the Brit Rock of the 90s and early 2000’s.
Delivered live with a heady dose of high energy antics and every song played with deep feeling, The Stone Tape Theory keep things fresh by improvising on the tunes in the room with you, no show is the same.
