Weekly drama groups for young people aged 8 - 18

Our Youth Theatre is split into three groups, giving young people the opportunity to develop their skills and creativity alongside others their age.

Ages 8–11

Mondays · 4.30–6.00pm

A fun and welcoming introduction to drama and theatre.

Navigators explores drama and theatre through games, creative activities and imaginative storytelling. Young people build confidence, develop communication and teamwork skills, make new friends and discover the excitement of performing.

Whether they're taking to the stage for the first time or already love being creative, every session encourages self-expression, imagination and plenty of fun.

No previous theatre experience needed.

Ages 12–15

Mondays · 6.00–7.30pm

A creative space to develop performance skills, build confidence and make new friends.

Through acting, improvisation, devising and storytelling, members work collaboratively to create, experiment and develop their own ideas.

Whether they're experienced performers or stepping onto the stage for the first time, everyone is encouraged to take creative risks, express themselves and discover their own artistic voice in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Ages 16–18

Mondays · 6.00–8.00pm

A more ambitious theatre-making environment for young people looking to challenge and extend their skills.

Through collaborative workshops, members explore advanced acting techniques, devising, script work and performance while developing their own creative voice and artistic confidence.

Participants are encouraged to take creative risks, tackle exciting projects and work alongside like-minded young artists, preparing them for further training, higher education or a future in the creative industries — while continuing to enjoy the process of making great theatre together.
