Page of Plymouth project reaches its finale on Sunday 12th April at the Barbican Theatre in Plymouth. We’re getting together with participants from across the project’s activities, who’ll be presenting work they’ve made in response to this lost tale of Elizabethan Plymouth.
We’ll delve into the Page of Plymouth story, hear from some of the people we’ve met along the way and see some of the extraordinary creativity of the people who live, work, study and create in Plymouth today.
Page of Plymouth is a major project celebrating and exploring a lost 16th century play by global icon of English literature, Ben Jonson, with new stories about gender, justice and ordinary lives in Plymouth. It has been made possible with a grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund, with thanks to National Lottery players. Learn more on the Page of Plymouth project page.
